4-H Fall Pansy Sale, Oct. 6-8

Enjoy locally grown pansies in 4" pots to benefit the local 4-H youth.  Pots are $4.00 each.  Pre-orders welcome, call 268-9437.  Plants will be available at the JC Farmers Market, UT Extension Office and JC Farm and Garden.

 New Signage for the Market!

  The Jackson County Agriculture Center serves as the location for the Jackson County Farmers market. The Ag Center located at 757 S. Grundy Quarles Highway will provide customers with close proximity to town and convenient parking. The market is being outfitted with new signage sure to attract and inform customers. Vendors and customers will enjoy the protection from sun and rain the new shelter will provide. The 40’ shelter was purchased through a grant provided by the Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program. The Farmers Market will be open  daily beginning March 2011 for farmers/producers who have a Producer Certificate issued by the Jackson County UT Extension.The Farmer's Market is located in the Agricultural Center parking lot 757 S. Grundy Quarles Hwy. Gainesboro 

 

  

Directions from Interstate 40: Take exit 280, the Baxter/ Gainesboro exit.  Turn north on Hwy 56 and proceed for 16 miles.  The market will be on the right hand side of the street,

Directions from Cookeville: Driving west on the Gainesboro Grade (290) until you reach Hwy 56.  Turn north for 8 miles.  The market will be on the right side of the street.
