Mission Statement

The mission of the Jackson County Farmer’s Market is to enhance the community by providing residents and consumers with a friendly, clean market that will provide fresh, wholesome, and safe locally grown products.  The Farmer's Market will connect residents and consumers directly to local farmers providing them with the opportunity to develop a relationship.  The Farmer's Market will provide an opportunity for local/area farmers to earn additional income and become a sustainable source of high quality products.  Residents and consumers will have the opportunity to learn about safe food production, preparation and preservation.  The Farmer's Market desires to be an asset to our agricultural community and attract customers/visitors from outside the county who might not otherwise visit.  

Directions:

New location for the Jackson County Farmers Market!  The Market is located in the Agriculture Center parking lot at 757 S. Grundy Quarles Hwy. in Gainesboro.

Directions from Interstate 40: Take exit 280, the Baxter/ Gainesboro exit.  Turn north on Hwy 56 and proceed for 16 miles.  The market will be on the right side of the street, beside the Sunoco gas station

Directions from Cookeville: Driving west on the Gainesboro Grade (290) until you reach GHwy 56.  Turn north for 8 miles.  The market will be on the right side of the street, beside Country Cabin Market.
